About the postition
As a 3D Technical Director at MVNT, you will lead the development of our 3D animation pipeline and toolchain that bridges AI-generated dance motions with production-ready game assets. You will architect and build the technical infrastructure that enables mvntSTUDIO to deliver high-quality, culturally authentic dance animations to game studios. This role combines deep technical expertise in animation systems with leadership in building scalable pipelines for next-generation dance content creation.
In this role, you will:
Develop and maintain animation data quality improvement pipelines using Control Rig and modern UE5 animation systems
Build Unreal Engine 5 plugins leveraging Blueprint and C++ APIs, with focus on Sequencer and Animation Blueprint integration
Design automated retargeting workflows using UE5's native retargeting system and custom pipeline tools
Architect scalable animation compression for large-scale dance content libraries
Integrate AI-generated motions with FBX pipelines, and real-time animation systems
We'll be perfect if you have:
Have experiences in 3D animation pipeline development or technical animation roles
Love Unreal Engine 5 (Blueprints and C++) with deep knowledge of animations
Can use other DCC tools (Maya, Blender, MotionBuilder) and their UE5 integrations
Understanding of animation retargeting standards, IK/FK systems, and procedural animation techniques
Knowledge of MetaHuman Creator integration and digital human animation standards
Processing experience of mocap softwares (Vicon, OptiTrack) and the production pipeline
